Finally, cost considerations are likely going to be on your mind as well. Although few would sacrifice safety for cost, there may be some ways to save on such costs as installation costs. Unfortunately, unlike some motorized scooters and wheel chairs, stair chair lifts are not generally covered by medicare or medicaid and most private insurers will not reimburse you for their costs as well. On the plus side, they may add value to your home once they are installed.
