How hard is it to remove a chair lift from a home?
We’re considering buying a home, but it has a chair lift on the stairs (that we don’t want).
How expensive or difficult are these to remove?

You could probably get someone to remove it for free if you were to give them the chair lift. Since they are usually added on to houses well after they are built, I’m sure they are not too hard to remove if you are a bit handy. Put up flyers in grocery stores or on craigslist offering the chairlift to whoever can remove it for you.
